A warm welcome
Sometimes, life can feel harder than usual to manage, maybe overwhelming too, and you just need to talk to someone. However, it can be hard to find the right person to talk to.
In counselling, I offer you a safe and confidential space where you can explore those difficult moments in your life. I am there to help you navigate through your difficult experiences, hurts and distresses, or other moments you need to share with someone. My aim is to be a non-judgmental and empathic companion to you while you explore what has brought you to counselling.
Our life experiences shape us in unique and particular ways and opening up what has been difficult for us requires kindness and compassion from ourselves and others if we are to heal and grow. While it may take time, it is in the here and now that we learn to work with the difficulties of our lives, and that is where healing happens.
Together, we will explore your current feelings and circumstances and you can start to bring about changes in your life, and your relationships with yourself and others.

Counselling for individuals
Counselling and Psychotherapy is to help you, to understand and accept your strengths and weaknesses as well as what makes you feel positive or anxious. Identifying feelings and ways of thinking helps you to cope with situations you find difficult and new ways of approaching. Counselling not only helps to alleviate distress and give you a clearer understanding of your situation, but it can also support you with personal change. I offer you an empathetic and supportive space to explore your experience and feelings. For me, the relationship between us is central to my practice.
Counselling for couples
When working with you as a couple, I use the Imago relationship therapy method. Imago therapy is about learning a new way of communicating together as a couple to enable a deeper understanding of each other and to reduce conflicts. As an Imago therapist my role is to help you learn to connect in a way that strengthens your relationship so that you can express yourself freely with your partner and feel understood. I feel very privileged to be part of your journey, of something so incredibly important, in that it creates clarity, understanding and love.
